Programme note

O lux beata Trinitas (2013) is a setting of words by St Ambrose drawing parallels between the Holy Trinity and different forms of light. My setting is in a simple ABA form with reflective, ‘luminous’ material contrasting with a much more vigorous and passionate middle section.
