Review of 2009

2009 has been a very succesful year for Phillip with performances throughout the UK and Europe. He has continued as a Junior Research Fellow at The Queen's College in Oxford and continues to forge strong links with the choir. Choral music has again been to the fore with new pieces for Gloucester Cathedral, the Pro Nobis Singers and a host of other choirs. Highlights of the year have included the Choir & Organ article, the LDSM residency and the tour of Cumbrian choirs at Christmas. New works have also been performed by OCYO, the Warehouse Ensemble, Isis Ensemble and the Orlando Consort. 2010 will hopefully be an exciting year with new works for several Oxford colleges, the LCMG recording to be released, a book on Howells in preparation and an exciting collaboration with the LDSM in the pipeline!
