Forthcoming Premieres

Phillip will have several new works premiered in the coming months beginning with the anthem The Lord is My Light by the choir of St Peter's College (May) who will also perform the work in Dublin in the summer. The Choir of the Temple Church, London will give the premiere of Verbum caro factum est in May as part of the London Festival of Contemporary Church Music - beginning an exciting period of collaboration with the choir. The choir of Queen's College will premiere Invocation in June with the excellent Simon Desbruslais on trumpet. A new set of Lewis Caroll songs for children's choir, Jabberwocky, will be premiered in Chester in July followed by the first full performance of the Three Marian Motets by the Pro Nobis Singers as part of the Lake District Summer Music Festival in August. Looking further ahead the superb Galliard Ensemble will premiere the wind quintet Galvony Fragments, a new flute and clarinet duet has been commissioned through Arcomis and young musician of the year Mark Simpson will perform Hafren.
